22nd Göcek Spring Race Week Şarık Tara – Youth And Sports Cup Races Have Been Completed

The spring sailing race week, which is organized by Göcek Yacht Club every year in May, was held in Fethiye Bay this year between 16-20 May 2022.
The Spring Sailing Race Week, which is organized by Göcek Yacht Club every year in May, was held in Fethiye Bay between 16-20 May 2022 this year. During the race week, which was held with the participation of a total of 50 boats, 380 sailors from 18 countries completed the races held in 6 different groups.
Boats have competed in 6 different divisions as IRC 1, IRC 2, IRC 3, IRC 4, IRC CHARTER 1 and IRC CHARTER 2.
After the registrations were completed on Monday, May 16, 2022, the race week started with the Opening Cocktail organized by Göcek D-Resort. At the ceremony held at the end of a total of 6 races held in four days, the winners of the day races and the teams that placed in the top 3 places in the Overall were awarded:

The boats participating in the race were hosted by D-Marin Göcek Marina, which is the main sponsor this year, as it does every year. Serenity Yachting, one of the constant sponsors of the Race Weeks every year, also gave the racers a day cup for a race organized in their name.
Enka Holding, known for its contribution to sailing for many years and supporting the sailing races organized by Göcek Yacht Club, also sponsored the race organized in the name of Şarık Tara and presented the Şarık TARA Special Cup to the Black Eagle team, who had the best time in the IRC Groups.
The teams participating in the 22nd Göcek Spring Race Week also attended the ceremony held in Göcek Square on May 19, Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.
The 20th Göcek Autumn Race Week, which will be held in November this year, will be held between 31 October-4 November 2022.
