21. Göcek Sonbahar Yarış Haftası Atatürk Kupası Yarışları Tamamlandı

Göcek Yat Kulübü tarafından her yıl Kasım ayında düzenlenen Sonbahar Yelken Yarış Haftası, bu yıl 6-10 Kasım 2023 tarihleri arasında, Fethiye Körfezi'nde gerçekleştirildi.

Autumn Sailing Race Week, organized by Göcek Yacht Club every November, was held in Fethiye Bay between 6-10 November 2023 this year. During the race week, where 104 boats registered online and 98 boats participated, a total of 785 sailors from 20 countries completed the races organized in 8 separate groups.

The boats competed in 8 different divisions: IRC 1, IRC 2, IRC 3, IRC 4, IRC5,– IRC CHARTER 1, IRC CHARTER 2, IRC CHARTER 3.

After the registration was completed on Monday, November 6, 2023, the race week started with the Opening Cocktail organized by Göcek D-Resort in the evening of the same day. During the week when five of the six races planned between 6-10 November 2023 were successfully completed, 1 race could not be held due to lack of sufficient wind. At the end of the races, the following trophies were presented to the day race winners and the top three Overall racers at the dinner and award ceremonies held at night.

• IRC 3 Group Winning Team – Symfony
• IRC 4 Group Winning Team – Space Jockey
• IRC 5 Group Winning Team – Hey Teacher
• IRC Charter 1 Group Winning Team – Deneb
• IRC Charter 2 Group Winning Team – Capella II
• IRC Charter 3 Group Winning Team – Cadenza

D Marin and Serenity Yachting companies, which have been supporting the sailing races organized by Göcek Yacht Club for many years, gave the racers a cup of the day for a race organized in their name.
Servet Şekerleme, one of our local supporters, also presented the racers with a cup of the day.
The 21st Göcek Autumn Race Week commemorated Atatürk with the Atatürk Cup held on the 4th day.

The 21st GÖCEK AUTUMN RACE WEEK was completed successfully, thanks to the races that grow with increasing participants every year and the local supporters and sponsors who contribute greatly to the Göcek Yacht Club.
