Spring sailing race week, organized by Göcek Yacht Club every year in May, was held this year between 13-17 May 2024 in Fethiye Bay.

Spring sailing race week, organized by Göcek Yacht Club every year in May, was held this year between 13-17 May 2024 in Fethiye Bay. During the race week, which was held with the participation of a total of 66 boats, 513 sailors from 13 countries completed 4 of the races organized in 6 separate groups.
Boats; He competed in 7 different divisions: IRC 1, IRC 2, IRC 3, IRC 4, IRC CHARTER 1, IRC CHARTER 2 and IRC CHARTER 3.
After registration was completed on Monday, May 13, 2024, the race week started with the Opening Cocktail organized by Göcek D-Resort. In the ceremonies held at the end of a total of 4 races held in four days, awards were given to the winners of the day races and the teams that ranked in the first 3 places in the Overall.

The boats participating in the race were hosted by D-Marin Göcek Marina, the main sponsor this year, as every year. D Resort and D.T.O., sponsors of the Race Weeks. He gave the day cup to the racers for a race organized in his name.
A day cup was also given to the racers for a race organized on behalf of Servet Şekerleme, one of our local supporters.
GYC Special Cup to FIRAT ŞAHİN and his team with Wings Racing boat, who achieved the best time in IRC 1-IRC 2 Groups,
The Youth and Sports Special Cup was awarded to ALEXSANDR PEREZHOSIN and his team, the Hıt Ten Ten boat that achieved the best time in the IRC 3-IRC 4 Groups.
The Imagine boat, which achieved the best time in the IRC Charter Groups, presented the GYC Special Cup to SIARHEI MARTYNKOU and its crew.
The teams participating in the 24th Göcek Spring Race Week also celebrated the 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day on the night of the event. The 24th GÖCEK SPRING RACE WEEK has been completed successfully, thanks to the races that grow with increasing participants every year and the local supporters and sponsors who contribute greatly to the Göcek Yacht Club.
The 22nd Göcek Autumn Race Week, which will be held in November this year, will be held between 04-08 November 2024.
